Wenhao Liu was born in Guangzhou, China. He studied at Vanderbilt University with double major in Studio Art and Economics and a minor in Corporate Strategy. While at Vanderbilt, he received the Mid-South Ceramics Award and Plaza Artist Materials Award. He is also interested in commercial art and has had internships in several advertising agencies. As an art director, he launched advertising campaigns that interacted with a large audience. Influenced by these experiences, he has a strong passion for creating interactive experiences in his installations. In his creations, he strives for a balance between meaningful work and creative play.
